As your contract grant writer, Brooke will...

• Source and research potential funding opportunities to meet identified funding needs.
• Develop and submit proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and other grant-related materials.
• Collaborate with staff members across the organization in the development of accurate, timely, and compelling submissions to current and
  prospective funders as assigned, including corporate, government, foundation and family foundation grantors.
• Assure compliance with all funder-specific guidelines and requirements.
• Build and maintain an annual grant calendar, including submission, renewal, and reporting dates and deliverables.
• Execute grantor reporting requirements.
• Maintain a status report for all current grant prospects, pending applications and completed applications and ensure staff is fully informed.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of your organization’s mission, goals, programming, and strategic direction.

• Clarify roles within the organization.
• Set SMART (Simple, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-based) goals.
• Determine what additional resources - financial, human, and organizational - are needed for growth and how those resources will be secured.
• Satisfy donors' want for a smart plan that delivers ROI.
• Design assessment processes, calendar, and criteria for measuring progress.
