Sure. Is it going to capture all the nuances of each parent's life? No. Any tool like this is going to be a generalization and simplification. But the point it makes is clear - our society is built on parents' (mostly women's) unpaid (and under paid) labor, without which the next generation would not exist and humanity would collapse. Any other resource so vital would receive investment. It's time we invest in children and families.
